Below are some of my favourite recipes


Chicken Stew

Ingredients:

3 tsp of Oil Chicken Thighs
Carrots 2 Stalks of Celery
2 Onions 3 Potatos
Chicken Broth 1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup


Brown chicken in oil for 15-20 minutes. Add vegetables. In bowl mix soups, a tsp of thyme, and a tsp of sage.
Pour over stew ingredients. Bring to boil and simmer for 45 minutes



Chili

Ingredients:

1/2 lbs. of Ground Beef 14oz can of kidney beans
19oz canned tomatoes 1 tsp of salt
2 tsp of chili powder1 green pepper
2 medium onions 1/2 tsp of pepper
2/3 cup of chili sauce


Brown meat in frying pan. Add onions and green pepper. Cook and stir until tender.
Transfer mixture into a large pot and add the remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 1 hour. Stir occasionally



Spaghetti

Ingredients:

1-1 1/2 lbs. of Ground Beef 3 cups of water
1 onion1 tbsp of white sugar
1 green pepper 1 tsp of oregano
2 x 15 oz can of tomato sauce 2 diced garlic cloves
2 x 12 oz can of tomato paste 1 bay leaf
2 packages of spaghetti sauce mix(optional)


Brown beef with onion and green pepper until meat is brown. Stir in remaining ingedients.Simmer for 1 1/2 hours, stirring occassionally



Chicken Casserole

Ingredients:

4 Chicken Breasts 1 chopped onion
garlic powder 1 can of Cream of Tomato soup
1 can of Cream of Mushroom soup 6 green onions


Cut up chicken in bite size pieces, sprinkle garlic powder over chicken. Mix soups, onion, and green onions in a bowl and pour over chicken.
Cover & bake for 2 hours at 350 degrees.



Chicken & Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients:

4 chicken breasts 1 onion
salt 1 cup of water
1/2 cup of uncooked rice 1 can of Golden Mushroom soup


In baking dish add (in order):rice,water,salt,sliced onion,chicken, and soup.
Bake covered for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees



Shepherd's Pie

Ingredients:

1 lb. of Ground Beef cooking oil
1 chopped onion 2 tbsp of flour
salt and pepper1 cup of water
1 beef bullion cube 3 cups of mashed potatos
1 can of corn (optional)


Combine beef, oil and onion in fryig pan. Scramble fry until brown. Add corn if desired. Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
Pour boiling water over bullion cube. Dissolve. Pour into meat mixture.
Stir until boiling and thicened. Spread in 1 1/2 quart (1 1/2 L) casserole dish. Cover with potatos.
Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes until heated through and potatos are browned.



Beef Stew

Ingredients:

2 lbs. of Stewing beef cooking oil
3-4 cups of boiling water salt and pepper
2 onions5-6 potatos
3-4 carrots3-4 stalks of celery


Brown meat with oil in frying pan. Transfer to pot and pour water over top almost covering the meat.
Add salt and pepper (you can also add Stew mix and beef bullion if desired). Cover. Bring to a boil. Allow to simmer for 1 1/2 hours until tender.
Cut onions in fairly large pieces. Peel and cut potatos. Peel and cut carrots. Add vegetables to meat.
Bring to boil again. Allow to simmer for 30 minutes until vegetables are tender.
